Ingredients:
- 1 papaya, peeled, seeded, and diced
- 1 jalapeno pepper, seeded and minced
- 1 small red onion, finely diced
- 1/4 cup fresh lime juice
- 1/4 cup chopped fresh cilantro
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions:
- In a medium bowl, combine the papaya, jalapeno pepper, and red onion.
- Add the lime juice and cilantro and stir to combine.
- Season with salt and pepper to taste.
- Serve the salsa immediately, or cover and refrigerate until ready to serve. The salsa will keep in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
- Serve the salsa as a topping for grilled chicken or fish, or as a dip with tortilla chips. Enjoy!
